It's been a long time since I've been able to say that. And it's been like a whole week of days that I've able to say this! I am very excited. It's so nice to wake up and not feel like you need to sleep another 17 hours.
I think it's because I'm riding my bike every morning. I get so sweaty that all the clothes go directly into the hamper and I go right to the shower. This morning I dumped half a glass of water on my head first. For three seconds it was refreshing, and then I was just sweaty again.
I'm also eating a little better and taking my vitamins and supplements--not once a day, but twice for the ones that direct twice a day consumption.
So about this eating better thing. I'm doing South Beach again. Even Josh likes the food that I've been making. Last night was Mediterranean Meatballs, sugar snap peas, and a bulgur wheat salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and mint with a lemon-olive oil dressing. Yum-O! Monday night we had a garlic rosemary flank steak and broccoli. I've made roasted pepper soup a couple of times and Mediterranean chicken burgers, too. They make a very good and easy lunch for me.
Nothing boring about this eating plan. And I've lost 5.5 lbs in 2 weeks! But I've got my period now, so those numbers fluctuate a little.
